Our Purpose

The Prabhupada Archive is a specialized digital repository dedicated to the preservation and bibliographical study of the first editions and original printings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s literary works.

The early printings offer a window into the literary presentation, editing and artwork of that time. Moreover, they represent a pivotal moment in the history of the Krishna Consciousness movement and—as we believe history will one day attest—a transformative point in the welfare of the world.

The Prabhupada Archive is a non-profit endeavor, functioning as a historical resource to provide students and researchers with essential bibliographical data on the movement’s foundational texts. By meticulously documenting the physical and textual characteristics of these early editions, we aim to provide researchers, historians, and devotees with a definitive baseline for the study of Srila Prabhupada’s legacy.
